Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder in which you experience uneven breathing. If you snore loudly and feel tired even after a long night’s sleep, then you may have sleep apnea. Men are three times more likely to have sleep apnea.
Some of the risk factors are:
Chronic nasal congestion
Difficulty in breathing while sleeping
Headache right after you wakeup
Not everyone who has sleep apnea snores and it doesn’t generally indicate anything serious. Consult your doctor if you have interrupted snoring. But consult your doctor if you have the below symptoms.
Waking up gasping or choking
Pausing breathing while sleeping
Excessive daytime drowsiness
